The first Caliban test page (This is a demo sandbox site)
A Subheading
This is the Document's Main Text field. It can be used to enter one or many paragraphs of text.
If you type or paste in plain text into just the Heading and this Main Text fields, and choose a Template to use, you will have a fully-functioning, content-rich page. The page titles, keywords and descriptions that search engine spiders use to index the page are created automatically for you from what you've typed.
To create a link to another Caliban page, such as The second Caliban test page we use simple a wiki-like format label - that's all, and it even converts spaces in the page name to _ and adds .html if you haven't.
NOTE: If you change this Document and want to use it for real, turn on "Active" at the top of the editing page. Documents can be Inactive while in development, then be made available when complete. Test Page |

The first Object heading
This is the text of the first Object, a place to put additional paragraphs of text, optionally with their own headings (as above), and optionally with pictures. In this example, the Objects are formatted the same as the Main Text, but they could be entirely different - all of which you specify just once in your Template.
The second Object heading
This is the text of the second object, is a bit longer. Note that there is no HTML involved here.
Just by typing 2 carriage returns, we have now started a new paragraph. Up to 50 of these Objects may be added to your Documents, so there's plenty of room for high quality content.
This is the text of Object 3, which has no heading, but does have an attached image. As you can see, just by typing or pasting text, and maybe selecting images, you can build a page that looks thorough and professional. |
